During the celebration of the 2019 “Cruz VIP Laps Experience”, Miguel Toril scores again a first place at the VLN Series. 

The sixth race of the VLN Series 2019, with a 4 hours duration, took place on September 7th at the historic track of the “Green Hell”. On board a Mercedes-AMG GT4 in the SP8T category of the #152 Black Falcon team and with fellow drivers Gabriele Piana and Mehmet Kaya, the eldest of the Toril brothers resumed his racing activity successfully. At the same time, along with his sponsor Cruzber and its Partners, they celebrate a yearly important event for the brand.

Not many were surprised by the weather with which the race had to be played. From the early hours of the morning, the rain made an appearance on the German circuit. This did not prevent the team from getting the best time in the category during Qualifying. It was Miguel in charge of taking the start and making the first stint of the race, overcoming the changing conditions of the track. After giving the car to his teammates, the #152 would cross the finish line in first position of his category and tenth place overall.

Miguel Toril: “I am very happy with how the race ended. I must admit that at the beginning I had to strive to maintain a good pace after several months without performing with the GT4, but it was worth it to be able to offer both the team and my guests of Cruz this magnificent result that we have all enjoyed. I hope to finish the season taking another good result home”.
