The eldest of Toril brothers returns to the Nordschleife competing for Black Falcon with the V6 category Porsche in which it defeated 24 hours of the Nürburgring 15 months ago.

The fifth event of the VLN series, the only one disputed to 6 hours this season, took place on Saturday 19thn of August at its usual location, the Nürburgring circuit, with full Nordschleife version; Miguel Toril was called up by Black Falcon to re-drive the Porsche Carrera 991 #394 in the V6 category alongside team-mates Aurel Schöller, Thomas Bolz and Olaf Schlüter.

The qualifying session in the morning would end with the Black Falcon Porsche #394 in the Pole Position of the V6 category and overall position 64 of the total of 167 vehicles registered. Aurel Schöller would be in charge of taking the start of the race.

After the first double stint without complications, Miguel would receive the car in 2nd place of the V6 and from that moment the difficulties would begin. The changing climatology of the Nürburgring would offer 2 hours of very irregular conditions and the consequent chaos of change of strategy, accidents and tension for teams and pilots. At the end of Miguel's double stint, the rain made its final appearance and in the final hours of the race there was a constant alternation between the 2nd and 4th place until the team finally crossed the finish line in the 3rd position of the V6.

Miguel Toril: "It's been a really difficult race. Given the uncertainty of the conditions, in the end I have kept all the time on track with slick tires and I had to deal with multiple dangerous moments. We finally crossed the finish line unscathed, which was the main objective of this race. I thank the team for this new opportunity to compete in the Nordschleife and I'm impatient for what is coming next."
