The eldest of the Toril brothers will drive a Porsche 991 GT3 Cup at Dubai 24h race 2017.
The usual winter break will be shorter this year for Miguel Toril, who will contest the great Event of the Middle East, the 24 Hours of Dubai. For the second time in his sporting career, Miguel will compete with a Porsche Cup and the Spanish-German driver will be able to demonstrate his speed and experience in endurance races after rising with the 3rd general place PRO-AM at the Blancpain Endurance Series aboard the Mercedes AMG GT3. Miguel will share the racecar with Burkard Kaiser, Sören Spreng and Runar Vatne under the Black Falcon team structure.
The Toril brothers will have to face each other, in what will be a historical fact, since never before Alex and Miguel had competed in the same category with different cars. Miguel will compete with the #69, while his brother Alex will do it aboard the #68.
The event will take place on January 13th and 14th 2017 and will be broadcasted live through the official website of the event: http://www.24hseries.com/24h-dubai.
Miguel Toril: “I’m very excited to arrive to Dubai. This is one event I always wanted to take place and I’m very pleased that Black Falcon has provided me this opportunity. I hope this will be a great start for the incoming 2017 season.”
