 Miguel Toril and his teammates finish PRO-AM 6th place in the first race of BES 2016.

The 1st appointment of the Blancpain Endurance Series took place this weekend at the legendary Italian circuit of Monza with a wide grid of 57 cars, thus beginning the program of Miguel Toril with Oliver Morley and Maro Engel in the team Black Falcon onboard the new Mercedes AMG GT GT3.

After a great performance during the free practice, timed practice session gave the team #56 the 18th place overall and 8th in the PRO-AM category; although the time could have been better, the ever busy traffic of the BES did not allow improve the last tenths.

Miguel Toril would be responsible for the start of the race and once he managed to stabilize its position, he reached the 16th position overall and 4 of the PRO-AM. By giving the car to Oliver Morley, a small error caused the British produced a Drive-Through. For the third stint, Maro would have to recover all the lost time but despite the high pace set by German only recovered enough to finish 6th PRO-AM and 18th overall.

Miguel Toril: "Although we could have finished with a better position, I am satisfied with my performance, the car and the team; I think can be a good season and that in one way or another we will get good results in the next meetings”.
