A misadventure on track limits the result of team #395 when Toril was fighting for podium places during the second meeting of the 2016 VLN series.

Miguel Toril has partnered again with Aurel Schöller in the Black Falcon team for the second round of the VLN, continuing with the preparation of the big event of the season in the Green Hell, the Nürburgring 24 hours.

With a changing weather, the duo of the racing number #395 got placed in 3rd place in the V6 category to take the start of the race, which would be carried out by Miguel. Once started, Toril was vying for the 2nd place of the V6 when unfortunately suffered an accident without major consequences during the 7th lap. The damage to the vehicle prevented to continue the competition and the team was forced to DNF.

Miguel Toril: "of course, it is never pleasant to have an accident on track, but analyzing a bit, we all know the risks that has such a complicated circuit like the Nordschleife and statistically an error like this would happen sooner or later. If it is true that a Nordschleife driver is not a real one just until kissing the barriers once, then I have completed this chapter. Joking aside, I'm glad this is happening now because in 4 weeks time we will dispute the 24 hours race and by that time I hope not to suffer any problem of any kind. Finally fully thank my team for their support. The show continues. "
