Alex and Miguel Toril share a race car in the 12 hours of Spa and they rise with the second place of category GT4.

Continuing with the development of the new AMG GT4, and as it was announced, Team Black Flacon has aligned for 12h of Spa a combination of drivers with multiple successes in endurance races: Adam Christodoulou, Saud Al Faisal, Alex Toril and Miguel Toril. The cold and endless rain on the Belgian asphalt, would be the keys of an intense race.

By midday on Friday, the qualifying session had already been held in which the Black Falcon GT4 #2 would be ranked third overall and second in its GT4 category.

The race format was distributed so that the first 3 hours of racing would take place on Saturday afternoon and only Christodoulou and Al Faisal would be at the wheel. By the end of this first quarter of the competition, the team led the overall standings with a comfortable margin.

On Sunday morning, the leadership would continue; unfortunately a hit with another participant when the track conditions were difficult would force the Black Falcon mechanics to have to execute a quick repair and the team lost all the accumulated advantage. The Toril brothers would complete most of the Sunday race time and thanks to a comeback of several positions, the team would finish in 6th overall position and 2nd in the GT4 category.

Alex Toril: "It was a very difficult race, the rain was very intense in some moments of the race but we were able to overcome the difficulties and get a podium again. The new AMG GT4 has worked perfectly and I am very happy to have been able to collaborate in the development of the car and thank the opportunity to Mercedes-AMG, HWA and Black Falcon".

Miguel Toril: "Driving the AMG GT4 has once again been pure fun. Despite the difficult weather conditions the behavior of the youngest of the AMG has been exceptional. A pity not to have culminated with the overall victory, but I am happy to have been able to get on the podium with my brother and with two drivers whom I also consider friends; a good season ending for me in which I only have once again to thank the whole Team Black Flacon and Mercedes-AMG for the support received".
